Ok, so when I am just web browsing with my E1505, there's periodically a ramdom search done on deal search and there's a message saying:

" Sorry, we couldn't find http://ads.pcper.com/adframe.php?n. Here are some related websites: "

    I am using IE7...

does anyone know how to fix this?

Does a virus scan/spyware scan turn up anything malicious?

Yup, sounds like spyware, worse, you might have a trojan - pcper.com looks like a legit site but it also looks like they've been hacked as well, as of this posting anyways.

its not a trojan.. if it is its a very mild one... try this.. use adaware and scane, also use ccleaner and scan... also use something called trojan remover and scan... that will get rid of all problems... its diffenatly not a virus... so dont worry about that... its either a very mild trojan or spyware.

no fears its nothing serious ....

I'd download Ad-aware, and Spybot and do a search and delete everything that they come up with. If you don't already have a good antivirus program, I'd recommend also downloading the free version of Avast. It's a great antivirus program and catches just about everything. Not only is it free, but its not only a hog like Mcafee or Norton.

It isn't spyware or anything malicious. It looks like they are trying to serve you ads on pcper.com (pc perspective, a reputable site) and those ads are not linked right. Is that statement a dialog box? I went with firefox and alot of the ads are not loading. IE may feel the need to tell you it is not loading them.

Unless I am misunderstaning what is happening. Could you be more specific?
