    Help to find a media player

    I have some video files which has extension m2ts. I tried VLC,MPC star, Classis media player but non of them are playing it well. If I watch the video continuously then its fine. If I forward then it stucks and program exits. Any good media player to run m2ts?

    You could try CCCP. It uses FFDShow with MPC.

    I'm surprised VLC didn't work. I have a few m2ts files and they play just fine.

    I guess it is just a quirky bug.

    If VLC Media Player can't support the file extension, no other media player will.
    Edit: I guess I was wrong haha. Darrickmartin seems to have the answer.

    But you need codecs afaik. Without codecs, it stucks if you try o forward or do anything.

    Today's WMP just needs a few more codecs. Probably the most often used ones it is missing is Divx and FLV. While an MKV file handler is nice, I don't think it's prominent enough to warrant Microsoft's time. I'd rather them spend time on the next generation of UIs.
