downloaded "Sandboxie" it caused system instability, I attempted to uninstall but it refuses to do so. Even system restore does not seem to work. How do I get rid of this gremlin short of using the recovery disc?

    tried:
    1. un.install under safe-mode?
    2. stop/disable all related services and start.up processes 1st before un.install?
    3. do a scrub un.install (del folders) and then let cCleaner clean up the missing/orphaned registries?

    cheers ...

Thanks for the help. Went through the steps again and it eventually went away.
