I just downloaded Acronis 2013 and Cant seem to be sure how to make a current Image of my computer. Ive used norton ghost before and it was straight forward. Im not sure if "back-up" is the same as a bootable image or not?

I want to make a Image of my computer as it is now and be able to just toss the disk in the cd drive and have it boot from there and restore on a new hard drive. Can someone link me or walk me through the process??

Hopefully the following guide will be useful, it will provide you with information about back up operations.

I would also recommend this article from our Knowledge Base that provides additional information about our product.
