Hello,
I have a gaming laptop which I had been running a debloated version of windows 10 on. During running that version of windows 10 my laptop while on battery was pulling around 10,000 MW which allowed me to get a minimum of 7 hours of battery (light usuage). I however did not feel good about using a custom debloated version of windows 10 iso because I couldn't trust it as I don't know what the person who made it baked into it (keyloggers, etc etc) So i went back to using a standard windows 10 iso (straight from M$) and set it up with all of my apps and settings including undervolt via TS. However the laptop is pulling around 40,000 MW which cuts battery life from 7 hours to around 2 hours which is quite the drastic change.
I've disabled all useless non microsoft services and startup. but i just can't get the laptop's power draw below 35,000 MW. Can someone help me with this?

Here's the thing that is a Gaming Laptop that will draw more power then standard laptop regardless of what you do. Also using debloated Windows 10 by someone else is asking for problem as they most likely removed for their purpose not your purpose and if they put keyloggers and trackers in there you have no recourse because you used it. So first off.
1. Legit Windows 10x64 Pro install
2. Find custom RegEdits that you can custom to your needs
3. Game Laptop will always draw more power that's the nature of the design itself you can't lower that down to a everyday non-gaming laptop power usage.
Beyond this you can pick and choose how you install your O/S to fit your need without resorting to someone else's O/S that you have no way to verify what they did to it or stealth install software that you will never find or track down. -
You get 2 hours battery from a gaming laptop ?
Kudos my man, that's real good. -
if your laptop using that much power on battery then something in the background is causing your CPU to use more power than necessary or your dedicated GPU being activated for no reason.
Did you install all the drivers for your laptop?. Also does your laptop uses NVIDIA optimius? -
