    Hi guys!

I have a question for you all: I am planning to get my girlfriend a Samsung NC10. She loves its design. Unfortunately all the stores that sell that here in Finland sell it with Windows XP in Finnish, which is unacceptable for us.

What's the best way to get an English Windows XP on the NC10? It doesn't have an optical drive, so using an English WinXP CD with the provided key will not work. So I have a few questions:

    1) Is there any way to change WinXP's language without reinstalling it? I heard of a Windows XP Multilingual User Interface thing, can it change the OS language from Finnish to English?
    2) Is the Finnish WinXP key also valid for an English WinXP operating system?
    3) Can the English WinXP be installed from another source apart from an external optical drive (like a USB flash drive)?
    4) Are the drivers for the NC10 hardware (webcam+microphone in particular) available online?

We would prefer these options because the local stores offer 2 years of warranty vs. the online sites we saw which offer only 1 year, plus no shipping would be necessary.

    1. Only a reinstall can change the default OS language.
    2. The key should be valid with any language as long as it's the same OS e.g home with home, pro with pro. You might have to call Microsoft to activate it though since it may be an OEM license.
    3. There's a guide to install XP via USB drive somewhere. Should work.
    4. Yup. Drivers seem to be available online here.
