Sorry if this isn't the right place for this but my IBM Thinkpad T42 has been crashing on me. It seems to BSOD every 30-45minutes. Sometimes it reboots immediately, other times it hangs on the BSOD. When it hangs it says "page fault in nonpaged area". This happened to me about 2 weeks ago all day while I was at work and then stopped until today where it has done it about 4 times in a couple hours. I used CCleaner to wipe the registry. I tried to install speedfan to make sure I wasn't overheating but the program won't open (weird, it shows the process in task manager but I never see the program). Still the problem persists. Attached are my 2 most recent dumpfiles. I'm at work tethering my phone's internet and can't download the windows debugging tool to look at it, plus I have no experience with it anyway. If anyone could take a look and give me an idea of what's going on it would be much apreciated.

Having trouble attaching the file. It says invalid file type. I tried making them a .rar but that didn't work either. What do I have to do?

    Crash dump directory: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump

Crash dumps are enabled on your computer.

On Fri 2/4/2011 2:13:08 PM GMT your computer crashed
    crash dump file: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini020411-02.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x4896)
    Bugcheck code: 0x1000007F (0x8, 0xFFFFFFFF80042000, 0x0, 0x0)
    Error: UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP_M
    file path: C:\WINDOWS\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
    product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
    company: Microsoft Corporation
    description: NT Kernel & System
Bug check description: This indicates that a trap was generated by the Intel CPU and the kernel failed to catch this trap.
This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem. This problem might be caused by a thermal issue.
The crash took place in the Windows kernel. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver which cannot be identified at this time.

The following dump files were found but could not be read. These files may be corrupt:
    C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini020411-01.dmp

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Conclusion
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On your computer a total of 2 crash dumps have been found. Only 1 could be analyzed.
Read the topic general suggestions for troubleshooting system crashes for more information.

Note that it's not always possible to state with certainty whether a reported driver is actually responsible for crashing your system or that the root cause is in another module. Nonetheless it's suggested you look for updates for the products that these drivers belong to and regularly visit Windows update or enable automatic updates for Windows. In case a piece of malfunctioning hardware is causing trouble, a search with Google on the bug check errors together with the model name and brand of your computer may help you investigate this further.

fwiw, I suspect a driver issue--have you a) checked Windows Update, b) your devices manufacturer driver downloads.
