Can someone please tell me how to remove the part circled in red? I want the folder' view' to be simple with just the folder contents.. I don't want to see this left hand panel.

Btw, it was without the panel before - I was doing something this morning and it just popped up suddenly.. now, I can't figure out how to hide it.. I checked in folder view settings but don't know what / where to change.. I can imagine it must be some very simple setting that I am not seeing here...

    Thanks a lot in advance.

Don't be embarassed fonduekid -- Microsoft really missed the boat on this one! The folks at Microsoft are usually pretty good at the 'intuitive' labeling of sections -- but for them NOT to put how you view something in "View" or "Views" -- and instead, to put it in "Organize" when it has nothing to do with organization -- makes very little sense!
