    Help, tried to downgrade but didnt work

    I have tried to downgrade from vista to xp, I put the xp disk in and reformated and installed, none of the drivers worked and it was just a mess, I put my vista recovery disc in and it came up with error. now im trying to wipe the drive and then insert recovery disc. its an asus f3jp, just got it today, what a write off!
    any ideas would be helpfull.

    Sounds like you're on the right track, reformat and restore everything with the recovery disc. Then, if you want to use XP, try this.

    Much easier than what you did. Or play it safe and stick with Vista!

    thanks eternal, I am using paragon to wipe the drive, then hopefully the recovery disc will be recognised, will wait see if that works before trying anything else, suppose to find out how somethings work you got to break them, hope ive not broke it though!!!

    dont forget drivers will be different for xp...jus make sure you download the drivers for xp onto a flash drive/cd...vista drivers will be different from the xp drivers
