Well, I formatted the 2nd partition, and decided to just run XP. But during bootup, I still get the SELECT YOUR OS boot screen. How do I get rid of that.

What was your other OS? What is the OS selector (Grub, lilo, vista, etc?)

the OS selector was a basic DOS mode selector which gave you the option to choose between the os installed.

nevermind, I fixed it. Download BCeditor.exe for free and it removed the entry.

Okay, that was the Vista bootloader. You technically still have a Vista MBR installed but since it's invisible to you it doesn't make a difference.

Rightclick My Computer > Advanced > Startup & Recovery Settings > Uncheck "Time to display list of operating systems" ... I prefer this over downloads.
