    Hey,

I'm not sure where to put this sorry but I need some help and this is the only comp related forum I frequent :( I'm not sure where I got this but I was browsing through my program files removing junk and noticed a folder called Windows NT. Which was weird because I have XP, and why would Windows NT be in the program files anyway? Looking inside there is 2 folders and 2 files. The folders are accessories and pinball, and the files were something I don't remember and "dialer."

So I tried deleting it, neither of the folders delete and if I delete any of the files they just instantly come back. So I went into safe mode and tried to delete it, and it deleted just fine. Went back to normal mode and the files are gone but the folders are still there. Spybot doesn't find this at all and I tried looking on google but everything just comes back as something else :(

Anyone have any advice for me to help me remove this problem?

I'm pretty sure that's not a virus. Those are just network components.

    that folder is normal,,

mine has 3 files and 3 folders one of which is the MS pinball game...

those are just systemfiles.... no need to worry unless they have been modified recently

Actually, underneath all the glitz and glamour, XP is Windows NT - that is, XP was built off of the old NT kernel. For a little backgrounder, take a squizz at the "History" section of this Wikipedia article.

It might be a program you installed and that created a folder called NT.
Just check the size, then the content.Remeber to set Display hidden files from Tools/folder options/view .
