My 1tb usb hdd is dying

What is the best software or way to copy data , I am getting an estimate of 9-12hrs with built in Win7 copy.

    Any help appreciated

    John.

EDIT : Acronis true image is estimating 17hrs :(

Just tried the free tetracopy 12hr estimation , Windows 7 copy says 7.5hrs but it`s likely lying.

That`s what i usually do, but i don't want to have to break open my new 2tb wd elements.

It looks like i will be running tetracopy over night.

I used to use Teracopy, nowadays I use Unstoppable Copier for the simple reason it's included in Hiren's disc. It has few options on how many times to try copying some file until it is skipped, good for recovering files from slightly broken drives.
