    I am having multiple firefox problems. First of I have a large grey space below the toolbar underneath the page. Second, I cannot open firefox more than once per log in on vista. Third, when I need to click on something to display a larger picture or more, nothing happens.

    Try running a registry cleaner after installing, like System Mechanic or something, then reinstall.

    Correct. Find your profile folder*, and drag the entire thing to the desktop. Start up Firefox to create a fresh profile. If the issue is solved, you can go into your old profile, copy your bookmarks, etc, into the new one.

    * Windows: %appdata%/Mozilla

    Remove any/all extensions and themes. That's what causes the gray bar on the bottom. Add them back 1 by 1 until you find the problem. You probably are trying to use an old extension with a newer version of FF.

    As for opening more than 1 per login, that's normal. You can open another window, but usually not another firefox instance.

    I tried removing all my add ons and themes and nothing was fixed. As far as only opening more than once, the only way around it for me is to go to the task manager and end a firefox process.

    What do you mean by not install correctly? Any error messages etc?

    Also have you tired making a new profile for FF?
    http://www.mozilla.org/support/firefox/profile(tell you how to locate and create a new profile) Make sure you back up your old one or at least the bookmarks.

    Also there is another web browser called Opera that you may be interested in.
