Normally there's a "Clear Recent Lists" when u right-click the "Recent Items" tab on start menu, but somehow I can't find it now. Anyone knows how to enable it again?![]()

You can try properties in the start bar, then start menu and customize.

Or just use CCleaner.

It have just gone...

In XP at work I don't have the option to right click on the Recent documents menu item to clear it, there's no right click menu at all on that.
I have to right click the task bar, then choose properties, then click customise start menu, then the advanced tab, then at the bottom of that window is the clear recent opened documents list button. -
I'm using Vista... ^ ^

ok I just checked.. yup there's a right click option on the recent items start menu item. I can't figure out how you've lost it to be honest tho. Have you tried unchecking the "store and display a list of recently opened files" box then applying it, then closing the menu, then repeating the process to put it back? It's a bit of a lame suggestion and one you've probably tried already but I can't think of a solution! Short of delving into the registry and as yet I've not learnt much about the Vista registry entries so can't offer any pointers for that

I also have no idea how i lost it... thanks anyway~
