I just reformatted and reinstalled Win XP on my computer. Before i did this i had the Hibernate option in my "Turn Off Computer" menu. However, now that i reformatted this no longer appears. Is this anything to worry about? or does "Stand By" do the same thing?

    1) go to control panel->performance and maintenance

    2) then under "or pick a Control Panel icon" on the bottom click on "Power Options"

    3) Power Options Properties should comes up.
look under the Tabs, there should be something that says "hibernate".
    click it.

    4) Under the Hibernate tab. there should be a check box that says "Enable hibernation" click it then click "Ok" and you're done :).
