I noticed this happens a lot, when Im copying files into and from a drive, or defragmenting my C:/ or even when downloading a file. My mouse tends to either stop, lag or shoot to positions. I'm using a logitech vx revolution with setpoint 4.6 drivers...any ideas?

    Uninstall the drivers and setpoint.
I use my Logitech mouse with just Vista's built-in drivers... works fine and I don't have any problems like that. Then again even when I was using the Logitech software I didn't notice anything like that.... But... still worth a try.
