When I play City of Heroes on my 32-bit Vista, the game crashes, so I found that hotfix. However, when I download the appropriate ones, they say that it "does not apply to my system." Please help!

If it doesn't apply, it doesn't apply--you may have already downloaded it in an update, perhaps you don't have a multi-core (you didn't list anything about your system, so we have no way of knowing).

More importantly--why assume that the hotfix is the solution for your problem?

City of Heroes crashing could be caused by dozens of things from other drivers to bad game code, to faulty hardware, to overclocking. Just because you found a patch that says "fixes crashes" doesn't mean it fixes your particular crash

I'm not trying to blow you off--be more exact in your description and say why you think this is it--does it crash in any other program, what kind of hardware do you have? The more detail you provide the more likely people can help.

Example: I have a blue car. It will not start. Can anyone tell me why? See, that's the rough equivalent of what you provided. AN auto-mechanic would laugh you out of the shop
