Hi People,
Can someone please tell me (or link me to a place for) how to add video effects (*.vfx files) that I can use with my creative webcam?
I have the dell m1530, with webcam (from creative) and in the dell webcam console, there are options for those extra video and audio effects, doodling and stuff. From the video effects, there is a button for getting more video effects, which on clicking takes me to the mylivecam website. there I see lots of extra video effects, some free, some paid.
Now, when I download the free effects, the files are with a .vfz extension. But when I check in my computer folder for the existing effects files, they have a .vfx extension. Now, are they both the same?
Second how do I add the new downloaded effects? Is it as simple as downloading them and dropping them into the respective folders? Or should I do something else?
Finally, does anyone know of any free, trusted place where I can download some video effects, for using in webcam?
*all because of my frickin' little niece back in India, who yesterday broke my balls because she wanted me to do a Spiderman on the webcamand I just couldn't manage to find video effects for that. The closest I got was a superman, which was present by default in the software, but she was smart enough to cry back at me saying that *was not* spiderman

Thanks in advance, people. Cheers.
