How do I bring up the "Folders" window in the left hand column of the control panel in Vista like I am able to do in XP???
I just started using Vista on my new Toshiba today and can't for the life of me figure out how to bring up and view the folders window in the left hand column of the control panel like I can with XP.
There isn't even a task bar with a "Folders" launch button in the Vista control panel like there is in the XP control panel.
A little help on this would be greatly appreciated!!!

im not on vista right now but i did that before... if i remember correctly you must enable the left hand column by going to file> view organizer column or something like that... it should bring up the left hand column... on the bottom should be something that says "folders ^" that will pull up the folders browser... sorry for the lack of exact details but im sure if you mess around with those options you should find it... if you can't view the "File" tool bar just press alt and it should pop up...

There is a little button entitled 'Organize' just under the address bar. Click on it, go to 'Layout', and check 'Navigation Pane'. Then, if 'Folders' is not already showing, click the little arrow at the bottom of the pane to bring it up.

I am in the control panel, but can not see any "Organize" button under the address bar...just "file/edit/tools/help".
The left hand column is blank except for the "Control Panel Home" and "Classic View" options. -
Go "Computer" or any other folder you will see "Organize" just below "File"

It might be hidden at the bottom of the left hand pane as well. Click "folders" if you see it there.
Otherwise in an open explorer windows, go to Organize -->Layout--->Navigation Pane -
Thanks, Guys.
Finally figured it out!
