When in the need to share wired connection from a notebook (infrastructure, not ad-hoc), I can create a virtual adapter for WLAN and share the real Ethernet's connection on this adapter. (There are also apps to automate this process.) But what if I want all the traffic to go through a OpenVPN tunnel?

I tried sharing the Ethernet or the VPN adapter (on Win7 SP1 X64), but none did the trick. There's no still no access on the AP unless I turn off the VPN. What should I do?

I don't have any control over the server. The client is the official OpenVPN 2.3.2 Windows build.
