Go to cmd
type in smlgr.vbs -dlv -
Click "start button", type "winver" without the quotes and hit enter.
-
That only tells you 7600 and nothing else.

HBQ is right, though if you get a "file not found" just do Start->Run and paste the following.
%windir%\System32\slmgr.vbs -dlv -
i got 6.1.7600.16385
google told me its the final retail version
correct ? any inputs ? Thanks

No. Google was wrong. You have the semi-ultimate version, which is missing all of the cool features. Might as well uninstall, and go with Vista.

Wait, what? Are you telling the OP to ditch W7 and go back to Vista? I do not understand your logic here. -
Right click "computer" and click on properties. It will tell you the version and if it is x32 or x64.

I found out last night with updates the current version is
6.1.7600.20510 -
Your sarcasm detector is broken.

I went back to windows Millennium because I want the most problems I can have!
That way I can whine even more on forums! LOL -
Ah.. Windows ME.. Right up there with Microsoft Bob.. good stuff!

That would be if you trusted leaked updates from Russia rather than getting them from microsoft update. For a supposed expert, you certainly do give some interesting advice. This, you stating that 32 bit and 64 bit are different keys......
