I recovered my OS, and got vista to basically "reset to default" all my files were still in the hdd like software. But it cannot be seen in the "remove programs" in the control panel.

I cannot run itunes because it says "Itunes has stopped working". I tried uninstalling it, deleteing it, and repairing it. Nothing works. I think i might have to delete itunes out of my computer first like in the registry but idk know how to do that.

    Anyone have any suggestions?

Try a manual search and delete what you find. Start with the uninstaller, if that shows up.

Reg Seeker and/or CCleaner can help with deleting Registry items, but if you decide to use either, (or any Registry cleaner), be careful.

You need Quicktime to run iTunes

Have a look at this thread, I posted a solution in page 2.

I had problems with iTunes when Vista came out and after a "clean" install the problem disappeared. I would recommend just to re-install. iTunes is a pain to delete since it lives rouge files.
