Okay I have a HP laptop with vista(32) ready and stuff..
The problem is that I want to remove vista completely but I still want a copy of it just to be sure.. I didn't get any vista CD-s with it. I'm sure it's a legal copy that I got because HP really made vista ready laptops including mine.
I just want to copy the vista installer, nothing more...
    I've got 2 weird drives:
    OS_TOOLS(E :) 1,5GB
    HP_RECOVERY(F :) 8.5GB

and the main drive is 108.5 GB

And after uninstalling vista I want to install linux(I don't like vista and XP seems to be too old for me), join all sub-discs together into one and then split them into 2 parts: one for media and one for the main OS system(I can do this myself :D).

Best way is to fit new bigger 500GB HDD or whatever and keep the original safe , new HDD`s are not that expensive now.

EDIT : also buy a cheap 2.5" usb external case $15 and you can access all your files.

I'm not from the US. I'm from Estonia.
That OEM restore program is great, thanks!
    I've found this:
    Removed by Mod
It's an original copy of vista OEM installation(it should be legal).
I would preffer it rather then waiting a week for that recovery dvd..

It is most assuredly NOT legal.

Recovery disks are OEM software that is legally tied with the machine. That torrent download contains copyrighted material(that can't legally be shared), so thread closed becase we dont allow discussion of that nature.
