So I don't know what happened, but suddenly intel started messing up the colors on my video player. I don't know if it has always done that though, because I only noticed it after I made a video of my own.

This is basically what it does:

It was super saturated when I first saw the video, and after a bit of time I figured that intel's "media profiles" are what are doing it. When you click the intel graphics icon on the bottom right, go to Graphic Options > Profiles > Media Profiles. The media profiles button cannot be disabled, and default settings do not give proper results. I tried modifying the settings and changing it into "application settings", but I couldn't fix it.

So how can I fix this?

Is "Adaptive Contrast Enhancement" enabled? You may need to uninstall the Intel graphics driver and then reinstall the latest (or let Windows install the default). Also, try unchecking "Override application settings" under Graphics properties -> Media -> Color enhancement and Image enhancement if not already.

The horror unfolds as I try to fix this problem and suddenly realized my PHOTOSHOP COLORS are affected by the intel drivers now. They look completely different than whatever I take screenshots of, and moving the Photoshop window from one screen to other briefly shows the original colors before being converted to some again.

I work as a Graphics Designer so this is the worst kind of bull I can get from drivers.

Trying to uninstall all of it now and make everything work from my NV GPU.

edit: Well, Nvidia drivers refuse to work wihtout intel drivers. Brb nuking intel HQ.

Edit2: I can keep taking a screenshot of Photoshop and pasting it into Photoshop, and the colors will eventually be completely mangled. This is terrible, whoever designed these drivers without giving the option to turn this off should be killed.
