Okay,
I went into my pictures folder and when i opened it this is what comes up:

All of the names disappeared.
Is there any way to get the names of all of the files back.
This is only happening in the "my pictures" folder. All other folders are working fine.

right click the folder -> view -> hide file names
[EDIT] Im running off of vista but im assuming xp is the same -

you can enable and disable it by holding [shift] while opening the folder, i think..
i see a boot-babes folder -
I replicated the problem on my XP partition, davepermen was close ( I think)
In thumbnail mode, if you open folders with ctrl+shift or switch display modes with ctrl+shift held down you loose the folder names. A system reboot should fix the problem. -

crtl and shift fixed it without a restart

well I have less than 10 now, so i guess. I used to have over 30 at one point, man that was bad. Luckily I sold a lot of them
