    I remember seeing a Vista sp1 post a few days ago that gave you instructions to mod your registry and able to see the SP1 download in WIndows Update.

    can anyone point me to that post?

    the service pack I have installed left a watermark g33z in the lower right hand corner....how close is this to the final...I haven't been following. Downloaded thru WU using the registry hack. thanks

    Not only hacked, but they could contain a virus or something nasty of that sort.
