In my PC, and campus PCs, there's the paste options formatting whenever I paste a word from various texts to MS Word 2003 with the little icon shown below the pasted texts. But I can't seem to get it on my laptop. I searched Google, and was presented with this.

    1. Click Tools and select Options
    2. Open the Edit tab
    3. Under Cut and paste options, select Show Paste Options buttons
    4. Click OK

But it didn't change anything. The option shows up when pasting in Powerpoint. But wouldn't on Word. Is there any options I have missed?

Where are you copying from? I think it only shows up if you are copying rich text. Pure text (ie, from Notepad) won't give you any options.

From a PDF file. It's obvious that the PDF file has white text, and when copying it over, didn't have the option like it normally does on my PC on the same MS Word of the same version. I've tried pasting the same text on the PC and it came out.
