But I think you need a Lenovo OEM disk if you want to sue the windows code at the bottom of your thinkpad. -
Yep, just use the link that wave gave you... You can just use the key on the bottom of your laptop as well. You don't need to have an OEM disc.

Thanks guys, going to download that and try to "repair this computer"... hopefully it can salvage my Windows 7 key, because there is none on the bottom of my laptop. Just a Lenovo product ID and 7-digit serial number.

Some manufactures hide the windows license stickers. Take out the battery and check under there.

You can also make a bootable copy of windows through a USB flash drive (provided its atleast 4gb) if you don't have any cd's lying around
