How do I make vista automatically find a public wifi when boot up and connect like XP used to?

We all remember the days when you would just boot your XP machine and it would connect to the strongest WIFI connection that was public. Now Vista just sits there and waits for you to click on the stupid taskbar icon to pull up the network settings and select which one you want.....is there any way to resolve this?

    Thanks,
    Chris
