How do I post a link without an affiliate code?

JWBlue, My understanding is that if I work for say Dell, I am not allowed to post Dell references in my signature without a disclaimer. If you want to PM me what you are posting, I would be glad to give an opinion.
Also have you appealed to the moderator(s) of the board? -

It means use the public link, the one you would find to navigate to the said page if you were going there from the main site, or say a google search.
Links given to you has a affiliate to generate some kind of reward for others using the links are in some places (nbr is one of them) not allowed.
My personal stance is I think they are fine, but only if somebody clearly states its an affilate link up front, not trys to be shady about it and hide the fact.
Example I would love to get 3 people to sign up for the Hawken beta with my link, it says you get a guaranteed spot or something if you do.
If your going to join the beta anyways why not help a fellow member out and use there link, same for dropbox etc.
But since there are bad apples out there, that try to post links and disguise them as things you should check out, or otherwise bate you into clicking without really telling you the goal behind the post, the rule is set that they are not allowed at all. -
Are these affiliate links?
I don't think they are.
