I have Norton antivirus on my laptop, and I recently recived a notice about the fact that I am not protected against this virus (Trojan.Peacomm).

I've already runned live update but the problem stands....
    What can I do?

According to the link posted by the previous poster, this Trojan arrives via email.
Then there are a few simple steps to decrease your vulnerability:
    1. set your email program never to open attachment automatically (and don't click on any suspicious attachment).
    2. close all preview panes (and don't open any suspicious email)
    3. A more radical step (that is what I have been doing for years) is to download email headers only, not the messages. Then based on sender name and the header you choose whether to download the email or delete it directly from the server. Obviously names can be forged and headers can be confusing, but for me it works.
