Readyboost is used in flash drives, not on hybrid hard drives. The flash drive used in hybrid hard drives is to cache the data into it, reducing the need for the read/write head to spin for access of data to enjoy better performance, greater reliability, and longer battery life.

You have to go into control panel's advanced power setting and enable hybrid drive for battery and/or AC.
Also there is a separate setting to enable hybrid sleep. -
My understanding of hybrid sleep has nothing to do with hybrid HDD(which if I am not mistaken is transperent to OS, just much large HDD cache but not in RAM but flash). Hybrid sleep is sort of "writethrough sleep" in a sense that the active memory image is also written to the HDD(hibernate) so in case there is a loss of power, it can resume on next boot. Yet it can wake up fast if there is no power loss, unlike normal hibernation.
