    I am using XP-SP2 on one notebook & Media Center Edition on another with Norton 360 premium on both. Upon shutdown "ccSvcHst" comes up saying "not responding". Most of the time if I click "end process" I can acheive a shutdown, but if I do nothing it will simply stay that way. No help from Symantec or Microsoft. Any suggestions?

    If you doing mind messing with the registry try this;
    Make sure you backup the registry(file-export in Regedit)

    Mine are:

    HungAppTimeout-5000
    AutoEndTask- 1 (main one you want to change)
    WaitToKillApp-1000

    Make sure you backup the registry(file-export in Regedit)

    Yes. I use Norton's Live Update several times each day. Also XP is set for auto updates. Any other suggestions?
