I'm curious if anyone knows how to enable tap and hold right click in windows XP, not the tablet edition. I have a touchscreen CF-29, and want to enable it.

Is it an msi file somewhere? registry hack?

I know that during the install process XP "detects" if you have a tablet, and I'm not interested in converting my install to tablet, I just want that little widget to enable tap/hold right click, like on a PPC.

    TIA!

I don't think it is available on XP with-out the Tablet Edition (the exe is Tabtip.exe). Vista and Windows 7 has it built in at the Home Premium or higher...

I found the files on the xp sp2 disk I have, and extracted them. Played around a little, but couldn't get anything to work.

Can one install the tablet features using the msi on the install disk (without a digitizing touch screen on your laptop)?

do you know if certain features can be picked out, or do they all run from the panel app?

    TIA!
