    How do I turn BT off?

    In windows 7 without going into the network adapters? In Vista, I could just right click the BT icon.

    You can right click on the icon because you have a driver that allows it. If you don't have Windows 7 drivers that provide a BT icon, then you have to go to the network page and disable it there.

    It would be helpful if you put your notebook specs in your signature.
