I think if you turn it off before you shut down it should be stay off when you start up again. I'm not sure though.
-
Sometimes there's an option in the BIOS that let you adjust this setting
-
2nd this
cheers ... -
2nd this also
cheers ... -
Ok done, No need to 2nd someones point. Bit stupid really QHN.
-
sometimes repetition does help making a point
& sure, 2nd someone's point = acknowledge someone's good point(er)
such a hard word, a bit "silly" is more like it
cheers ... -
Only dim people need reptition to get a point across, save it for yourself in future
-
Not the change the subject but how do you turn on numlock at boot?
I don't see an adjustment option in my BIOS so am I SOL? -
Try turning numlock on before you shut down. It should be on when it boots again.
-
Crash is right.
-
hmmm, personal experience tells me that "dim" (?) people would take any good suggestions - however repetitive they are - with grace and appreciation
sure, we should make sure that any forum users that use "2nd this, 2nd that" statement to keep it to themselves in future - good tip
cheers ... -
Numlock is on when I shut down but I have to turn it back on at boot. My laptop is an hp dv9207us with numeric keypad on the keyboard if that makes a difference.
