    How do i restore windows Xp skin?

    I was being stupid, and tried to install vista skins...but it went bad...and now my windows xp skin is gone, and i'm stuck with classic.

    How can I get it back?

    When I try to set it back, it says it couldnt run DLL and had to close it or something along those lines.

    Try the Royale Theme you can get it for free & its similar but better then Luna.
    If that doesn't work, restore windows or do a system restore(first option there).

    I did a system restore...maybe I didnt restore the right one?

    It seems like the files are gone or something.

    I installed Royale....I still get the same error...cannot run DLL as an app and it closes.

    Repair Windows.
    Have you tried reinstalling the UxTheme Patcher?
