I dragged the 8GB OS file into the 16GB thumbdrive but it says the file is too big.
-
Is the thumb drive formatted with NTFS or another non-FAT format? FAT32 has a file limit size of 4GB.
-
Ok, how do I change it to the format that would use 16GB and could have 8GB in it? Also I was thinking just moving the file to the drive isn't the same thing as burning it into it to use it like a bootable CD?
-
Ok I reformatted it to NTFS. How do I mount the ISO file now?

killkenny1 Too weird to live, too rare to die.
With program like Daemon Tools and such.
Winrar can open ISOs too, but not mount though. -
I'm having trouble. I tried to use ImgBurn but I can't choose my thumbdrive. I got Daemon Tools Pro but it's not showing anywhere where I can choose the USB and choose the iso file.
http://www.ehow.com/how_6969999_mount-image-usb-flash-drive.html I can't find command prompt when following this ehow article. -

hit the windows key on your keyboard (or use your preferred method of bringing up the start menu)
type 'cmd'
hit enter

How do you burn / move Mac OS into a thumbdrive on W7?
