I once found a website or two where you could download something that rendered all the fonts in Windows to Mac-like fonts but I can't find it anymore.
-
I guess you mean this : gdipp - Customizable Windows text renderers - Google Project Hosting
-
Thank you. It changed the IE menu bar's fonts into smoothed version but the contents of the Internet itself is still not changed. What would be the solution? Btw I downloaded the latest version.
-
Try to restart Windows if haven't done that already.
-
I did but doesn't work.
-
Did you install the compatible one ? , I mean x64 if you're using 64-bit Windows and x86 if you're using 32-bit Windows.
If you did, I suggest reinstalling gdipp and then try to change the browser.
Good luck -
I don't know whether I haev 64 or 32. How do I find out?
-
Start menu, right click on computer, properties. Look what it says besides system type.
-
Mine is all written in a foreign language. I looked at the start menu "right click on computer" I couldn't find the computer.
-
Unfortunately now Chrome menu bar and tab fonts have been messed up and appears all corrupted like as if they were smudged. How do I just get rid of this?
-
If it's not one of those two options, the third option, well... tsk tsk. -
I bought a normal American version but I changed the language to a foreign language, because I could not read instructions for some software downloaded in that language without doing that.
-
Heh. O.K. LOL.
Anyway, have you looked into total conversion packs? Like: Transformation/UX Packs | Theme My PC
Or the Inspirat packs: Download Mac OSX Lion Inspirat by dlb - CustoPack.com With these, you only need to find the font pack. But Windows fonts are arguably better than Mac fonts. Especially since Windows fonts are TrueType. Unless you find a Mac font pack that's been altered to be TrueType.
In which case, have a read of this: http://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/639471-how-do-i-replace-cleartype-with-os-xs-lookalike/ -
Thanks for the suggestion. Right now I just want to get rid of the thing I installed that was supposed to make the Windows fonts like Mac.
-
should be able to go to install/uninstall programs. Windows is better looking than Mac anyways.

If you really want to change the fonts in Windows to Mac fonts,
go to Personalization -> Window Color ->"Advanced Appearance Settings" -> Select each Item, and change the font to the font you want. The advantage of this is that no software is necessary (except for the font itself) and you don't end up screwing up your Windows theme if you choose the wrong font; it's completely reversible.
Apple uses variants of Myriad Pro, or a font that is very, very close to it, IIRC.
How do you make the Windows look like Mac in fonts?
