How do you side scroll with your keyboard?

I googled it but the link told me "Ctrl+Alt+left/right Arrow keys." Those directions for me instead rotate my screen instead of right or left scrolling.

I know that if I move the window a touch screen then I can obviously use my finger but there are many instances where my window is not on a touch screen.

My performance MX logitech mouse has left and right scrolling but they don't work, and installing logitech's setpoint software for whatever reason disables my mouse entirely.

What do you need to side scroll? Your browser? Just the simple press of the good old down arrow key makes web pages scroll down. Sorry if I was stating the obvious but I don't understand your problem....

I thought the OP wanted side scrolling not up and down. (Look at his subject (title).
