    How does Acer software work?

    I am still soo puzzled on what this Acer ePerformance software is supposed to do. It has turbo startup and enhanced performance modes, but I dont notice any difference. Does anyone know exactly what the program is and how it is meant to do the things it claims?

    Simple way to tell, uninstall it and see the difference.
    Spotted it yet? Yes, that's right, none! ;)
    It does nothing that Windows does not handle perfectly well on it's own. Looks good, does bugger all. Ditch it.

    Aha! I set up CPUZ and changed the Acer epowermanagement to CPU speed LOW, and it changed the multiplier to 6 and MHZ to 1000. It doesnt change for medium or high settings but then it goes back up to 2000MHZ and a multiplier of 12 if I change it to Max performance. Interesting...
