^^^Topic. Does the Win7 uninstaller get rid of related files in a similar way? Just wondering if I can ditch it, it's one of those old stand-bys that I brought over from Vista.

Windows won't clean anything that the program's installer intentionally left behind for whatever reason. Revo will search your computer for anything related to that program (thought sometimes I find stuff Revo didn't...)
-
Revo is better IMO since it removes the Program Files folders/files as well as registry entries.

Yes, Revo is much better due to the fact it can remove folders and registry keys that the default install will not.
-
I usually delete the left over folders/registry entries myself.

I use windows, if it leaves some stuff behind thats ok. I can delete it myself if its a problem. I would rather have a few MB of leftovers than a broken machine because a key was removed that should not have been or a shared resource.
I have had that happen to me before when I tried to keep things too clean. -

It`s a pity Revo hunter mode does not work in x64 OS

Technically speaking, it's not windows uninstaller. Each individual software has their own uninstaller. Windows 7 simply invokes it, so the uninstaller quality varies.

for the most part i use the windows one to be safe, i only use revo if say an app refuses to uninstall cuzz of say some error but even revo can leave some stuff behind so i manualy clean it.
How good is the default uninstaller vs. Revo?
