    About 1-5 seconds using the computer in my sig which is my main computer.

    about 10-15 seconds to go to sleep.. also the same time for shutting down

    that seems a little long don't you think?
    mine usually shuts down in 10-14 seconds, but sleeps in about 3-5

    It might have been hibernate that i used, ill give it another try later to get a exact time

    I just did a clean install a couple of days ago so it should be quick...

    I get about 11-15. It takes some time for some reason. Sometimes it takes up to 30 seconds (but at least it does it)

    The more programs your running, the longer it will take to put to sleep. Probably because windows has to temporarily freeze/save the current programs your running for a quick wake-up call

    Yeah, probably. I just reinstalled and have to take the time to find all the useless programs.

    10-15 seconds to shut down,
    pretty nice!

    Okay i tried putting it to sleep again. My screen faded black after 2seconds and an extra 3 seconds for the whole thing to totally sleep. I had firefox with 6tabs, winamp and MSN messenger on

    It must have been hibernate that took longer..
