    How long does the free vista upgrade take?

    I checked the status of it after a month. Its still at "COA validated." Is this the same with anyone else?

    Well, if you have submitted the proof of purchase and its been a month since then you need to contact them or re-submit the POP. Usually it takes them few weeks to acknowledge that they have received the POP. Mine(ordered back in december) is currently listed as "Order awaiting shipment" with scheduled date as "TBD. Please check back in 2 - 3 weeks." I believe they will start shipping only in March on a first come first serve basis.

    To sum the article up, there was fine print included in this so called "Express Upgrade." The fine print stated that the Vista DVDs will be shipped four to eight weeks after Vista's official release. ~ two months after January 30th.
