I was doing some repair work for a customer on his Dell Notebook, older model, XPS 1210, I tried to repair the OS, but decided to reinstall the OS. Since he did not have a Recovery Disc, I reinstalled the OS with one of my Dell Disc. (I know there are some license issues)But a Dell OS will install on any Dell Machine. Anyways....when I was looking for my Dell Disc, I realized that I have alot of OS disc.......(since I do freelance repair)
Here is my list.....![]()
1 retail Windows Me Disc (I don't even remember getting this).

Half a dozen Windows discs from 95 till XP* - and if ISOs count, maybe a dozen versions of OpenSolaris and various BSDs.
...and umm, probably 200 Linux ISOs.
*) btw: According to the license terms I only own the discs, not the OSes on them. -
why its pointless to collect them 1 or 2 enough
-
Usually I keep the ISOs, even if I deleted the VM, because I may want to test it again. HDDs are cheep and I'm too impatient to download it again (if it's still available at all).
Do you need a Debian Sarge DVD? -
WOW
I was hoping to get a good Thread going. Good turn out.
I forgot to mention Windows Server 2003 (32-bit and 64 bit) and Server 2008. But these are only 6 month trials that used when studying Server 2003 in School. They are kinda useless to me,since the agency I am with using Novell Client and Linux Servers. I had geared myself up to study Server more and work on a MCSA, but I really don't need it now.

I might as well add my Linux one's too!

Ok, I counted them (actually I let "wc" count
). I currently have 224 Linux ISOs.
Not all count as a separate OS because I have some alphas and betas of the same final version and the whole Debian Etch DVD set in i386 and amd64. So I guess 200 is still a good estimate. -
