Anybody has figures on those values ?
How can you test how much watt is consumed by a laptop ?

You mean how many watts do they consume
jk. Expect anywhere from 60-250 watts from the low to the highest end. My system in sig uses about 150 when maxed and OCd.

You should be able to do some calculations to find out how much power each component uses also. For example, my CPU is a 44w CPU (running at 55w from overclock) and my GPU uses 75w (80 from OC). Chipset uses 20w. Then add in your screen, HDD, memory, etc, and you'll get a decent idea. Wikipedia ususally has info on wattage for CPU.

Most are 65 or 90 Watts these days; there are a few that go significantly above that, due primarily to extreme CPU's, desktop CPU's, dual graphics cards, or some such combination of the above.
But they typically use much less than that at idle - mine usually uses 16-20 Watts at idle. I use RightMark CPU Clock Utility, and its battery features, which tell the rate at which the battery is draining, amongst other things. You could also estimate it by taking your battery wattage and dividing by how many hours of battery life you get - if you have an 80 WHr battery and get 4 hours of battery life, you've using about 20W per hour. -
How many Watts you average on what screensize laptop ? -
just buy this and u will see everything what is consuption of :

A 17" Macbook Pro (of any configuration) uses an 85W MagSafe adapter. So the wattage of the laptop can't go past 85W. How close it gets, I couldn't tell you.
My old Dell Inspiron E1705 laptop came with a 90W power brick. When I upgraded the video card I also had to get a new power brick, a 130W model.
I believe my beefy Sager 5793 uses a 140W brick tho I'm not sure since it doesn't say on it.
A good estimate is a laptop uses as much wattage as two normal light bulbs. No, not the low-watt swirly ones, the old school ones. -
If you install linux it creates a graph of your power usage per watt. I was surprised at how little mine use when not under load. <10 watts! =-O

Is that for your Dell 15 studio ?
Do you have any figures on average consumption ? -
How much Watt does your laptop consumes on average ? What laptop ? -
Any more people with specific figures about their own laptop ?

According to NHC, when my laptop(see sig) is running on batteries with ATI's powerplay ON it takes about 17 watts of power. If i disable powerplay the consumption jumps to 27-30 watts.

My 14.1" Dell E6400 pulls about 20W from the mains socket under light usage (eg forum browsing) and peaks at around 50W under full load. However, it's a relatively economical machine with P8600 CPU, Intel X4500 GPU, LED backlit display and 5400rpm HDD.
T series CPUs, dedicated GPUs, CCFL backlights and 7200rpmHDDs will all tend uto increase the power drain. Say 25W - 30W under light usage and could well be up to the maximum PSU rating under heavy load.

and in game, above 100 watt
