Is there a conclusive way that you have changed the "hibernating..." screen?

I have never heard of doing that. Have you seen it done before? It seems like ti would be difficult to do, unless someone has written some software to do it for you.

There is a software call TuneUp 2007 and it can read a file called .bootscreen (i know, what I weird extension). I know you can change the boot up screen with that, but I'm not sure if any program can change the hibernate screen.

Why would you want to change it? it changes to black to conserve heat and power. If you change the screen to something else, it defeats the purpose of hibernating.

I'm not sure that a black screen for 15-20 seconds would matter while you are hibernating. I know that it can be done, you should do some goggling. If you have a prayer for being capable of changing it, you should be able to get some legitimate hits on Google.
