Hello Forum,
Thanks for the support for installing Windows 7 from Scratch on a preloaded machine.
There is a problem now.
I made my USB bootable for the installation and now I want it back.
I mean, I want to use my usb as a normal data carrying drive not as a bootable devise..
How can I remove the bootable property and made it a normal usb drive.
thanks.

NotEnoughMinerals Notebook Deity
you can just delete everything on it, and use it like a normal usb
-
Just format it

Thanks Guys,
Let me do it as suggested and get back for the results..
Thanks again.. -
I have a 4Gb Kingston R2 and I did exactly as communicated above..
deleted the data.
Formatted the drive..
BUT
It's still bootable...
Please specify any other method that could remove the bootable sectors or whatever.. -
Right Click Computer - Manage - Disk Management - Right Click the Usb Drive - Delete Volume - Right Click Usb Drive - Format Volume (FAT32)
Try that. -
Thanks alot..
This forum rocks, two of my problems solved in just a couple of days -
Happy to help
