Because lv2go modded inf is not WHQL certified. Use the setup.exe in the driver pack or "Have disk" method to update the GPU driver.

    Try uninstalling your current drivers.

EDIT: Sounds like coolguy knows what he's talking about, so try what he said first.

Uninstall the old driver using Device Manager, making sure "Delete driver files" or whatever is checked.

It sounds to me like you haven't uninstalled your previous drivers, which you should always do.

    Uninstall, restart, install, restart.

That's the recommended process with GPU drivers.

He does! You should follow his advice. I don't know of anyone on this forum who has spent more time investigating various drivers and install methodology.

Windows won't detect any driver (except the std VGA driver) for Vaio Nvidia GPU's.
You need to select the "Install the driver anyway" option to install a driver which looses it's digital certificate after editing the inf.

UPDATE: okay so i got all the options including loads of other options, but the whole downside is that when i tried to play a 720p .mkv video its lagging like crazy, i switched to my intel card and its working fine and it was working before hand, ive tried going back and forth between options but nothing works....what do i do? i havent tried gaming but im guessing thats gonna lag as well

should i uninstall and get 197.16 or 15? since im running 197.25
