Yes, the title could be confusing and that is exactly why I chose to post here because I couldn't find the exact words for Google to help me out with this.![]()
When I right click stuff, I will be able to see the options, then sometimes there would be sub-options (indicated by the small triangle/arrow). My problem is that those sub-options always appear on the left side of the main right click options instead of the right side (where the triangle/arrow points at, and is more intuitive). There is adequate space on the right side for the sub-options to appear. I am only able to make the sub-options to appear to the right if there isn't enough space on the left side of the main right click options (so basically, it reversed as how it should be, at least how it was with XP and Vista). Is there anyway to customize it? I tried resetting my view options to default, but nothing changed.

doesn't happen on any of my machines. have you tried turning off / uninstalling descscapes to check if that is the cause? -
Hi! Thank you for replying. ^^
I just uninstalled deskcapes to check (then ran Ccleaner and rebooted), but unfortunately, the sub-options still appear on the left side.
-
Not much you can do since it depends on where your mouse pointer is at the time you "right" click and how Windows desktop calculates the space availability (which is a black box to me
)
-
So where does my mouse have to be when I right click? Right clicking at the center of the screen (where there is about equal available space on both left and right) results on the sub-options appearing on the left side still.

That can happen if you set your system (or somehow it set itself) for right-handed tablet operation. Try this.

+1. Try that.

You deserve all the +rep in the world.
That did it, problem solved. ^^
I have no idea why it had been changed like that. xD -

awesome! i should have known that, but sadly, i'm one of the few tablet users and i'm left handed, too

Hey, I am a tablet user as well, but this will be the first time that I have noticed that there is another tab in the Tablet PC Settings other than the "general" one that contains the calibration settings which I mostly deal with.
Btw, if any would have the same problem in win7, the left-handed right-handed thing is on the second tab ("Others").
